After many months of editing, meetings, providing feedback and re-editing, my original short film: The Three Gentlemen is complete! 

The story behind this project could be absurdist play in its own right…The original script was written over five years ago, but wasn’t able to be filmed until 2024. The filming took place over a single day, in a boiling hot converted studio above an abandoned shop, full of old rubbish, abandoned film props, and pigeon droppings. We had one camera, a couple of lapel microphones, and a small bag of makeup.

My co-star and fellow director were due to take a personal trip the following day and so, we knew we had no choice but to get the whole film completed in a single day of shooting. Ten hours later, sweaty, starving, exhausted, but triumphant, we succeeded. 

I am currently discussing the next step for the short film with my co-director. There are several competitions we are currently eyeing up as potential opportunities to submit the finished film. Regardless, once things are more settled, we will look for a platform to distribute The Three Gentlemen. I will make sure to provide you all with more details as soon as I am able. 

This short film was produced in collaboration with Sealight Films, who did an excellent job under very narrow time constraints!
