The Indiependent

Ever since I began writing for The Indiependent, I have contributed numerous articles, including: book reviews, media analysis, cultural pieces, and political commentary.

I have penned articles on a wide range of topics, from the decline of the monarchy, to the failed adaptations of George Orwell’s Animal Farm. Producing regular content for The Indiependent has enabled me to experiment with less conventional forms of writing opinion-based articles, often weaving well-researched journalism with a deeply satirical and polemical style. Writing for The Indiependent has given me crucial experience in being able to produce original content within a tight deadline, whilst simultaneously adhering to the magazine’s house style.

George Orwell made a similar claim in his collection All Art is Propaganda. These statements, at least when superficially viewed through the literal-minded eye of most modern readers, perhaps seem rather extreme.
War is Peace: How Trump Exposes The Double- Think Of American Foreign Policy
Karl Marx once claimed that history repeats itself “the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.” In this political era, we must invert this adage. These days, history manifests first as a farce, then as a tragedy.
